China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment Releases Notice to Review Application Forms for Import of Toxic Chemicals

On May 08, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China released a notice to review the application form for the import of toxic chemicals (like 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,11,11,11-docelin-1-undecanool) submitted by Sigma-Aldrich (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. meets the requirements of the Regulations on the Environmental Management of the First Import of Chemicals and the Import and Export of Toxic Chemicals (Huanguan [1994] No. 140) and the Announcement on Printing and Distributing the List of Toxic Chemicals Strictly Restricted < China (2023) (Announcement No. 32 [2023]. To reflect openness, fairness, and impartiality, the review of the application for the first batch of environmental management release notices for the import of toxic chemicals in 2024 is publicized on the government website.
