GSA Seeks Input on Reducing PFAS Chemicals in Government Procurement

The General Services Administration (GSA) is focusing on reducing or eliminating potential per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals to reduce exposure from products offered to the government through GSA's contract solutions. The agency is seeking comments to understand potential areas for focus and identify potential unintended negative impacts. GSA has not yet decided whether to work towards a notice of proposed rule-making to address this topic. Interested parties should submit written comments to the Regulatory Secretariat as noted below on or before June 17, 2024
