With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, Venkat has demonstrated extensive working experience in various challenging and complex environments (Startups, Big Four Audit/Consulting Firm, Fortune 500 – Technology Service Provider, Fortune 100 – Industry Companies, etc.). Prior to Freyr, he was with Bristol Myers Squibb as a key member of their cybersecurity risk function. During this tenure, he has successfully enabled the realization of many complex business and technology initiatives with his cybersecurity expertise.
As a perpetual learner, his cybersecurity expertise ranges among Risk Management, Cloud Security & Architecture, Compliance Management, and Controls Review, which are integral for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industries. He believes Cybersecurity not only enables to secure, support, and scale of the business but also creates value for the business, and it can tilt the timescale in Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry in its pursuit of health equity for patients.
