On 23 June 2026 Agencia Nacional de Vigilancia Sanitaria (Anvisa) announced enforcement actions ordering the seizure and prohibition of several unregistered cosmetics and sanitizing products after identifying significant regulatory violations. The measures target products manufactured or marketed by unauthorized or unidentified companies, posing potential risks to consumer safety. Among the affected products is Suake Hair Makeup (Eyeshadow to Touch Up Hair Roots), which was found to be manufactured by a company lacking the required operating authorization and marketed without the necessary product registration. Anvisa prohibited its manufacture, distribution, sale, advertising, and use. The Agency also ordered the seizure of SupperAlcohol 92.8° INPM, SupperAlcohol 70° INPM, and SupperAlcohol 46° INPM sanitizing products because they are of unidentified origin. The registered trademark owner informed Anvisa that it had no involvement in their manufacture. In addition, Bottox Amazon Therapy Natuvegan cosmetic products were seized after Anvisa determined that they were marketed without registration or notification and that the distributor, Progressiva Orgânica Cosméticos Ltda., had improperly used the registration details of another company. These actions reinforce Anvisa's commitment to preventing the commercialization of unauthorized health products and protecting public health by ensuring compliance with Brazil's regulatory requirements.
