Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Philippines issued FDA Advisory No. 2026-0598, warning the public that Hard Bull Brand Herbal Dietary Supplement Capsule (Lot No. 25051727, Expiry: 03 January 2027) tested positive for Sildenafil Citrate during post-marketing surveillance. Sildenafil Citrate is a prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction and is prohibited in dietary supplements due to the potential risk of serious adverse health effects, particularly for individuals with cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, low blood pressure, or a history of stroke. The product has been declared adulterated, violating Republic Act No. 9711 (FDA Act of 2009) and Republic Act No. 10611 (Food Safety Act of 2013). Consumers are advised not to purchase or consume the affected product and to report any adverse events to the FDA. Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs) have been requested to ensure the product is not sold or distributed in the market.
