Health Canada has announced a recall of certain Sweet Vengeance edible cannabis products distributed by 10392804 Canada Inc. due to incorrect THC labelling that may result in consumers ingesting higher amounts of THC than indicated on the product packaging. According to the recall notice, the affected products may contain more THC than declared on the label, increasing the risk of adverse effects, particularly among inexperienced consumers and individuals sensitive to cannabis. Consumers are advised to stop using the affected products and follow the instructions provided in the recall notice. Retailers and distributors have been directed to remove the impacted products from sale and distribution. Health Canada noted that consuming higher-than-expected levels of THC may cause symptoms such as dizziness, anxiety, confusion, impaired coordination, increased heart rate, and other adverse reactions. The recall forms part of Health Canada's ongoing monitoring and enforcement activities to ensure cannabis products sold in Canada comply with regulatory requirements for safety, quality, and accurate labelling.
