Philippines FDA Warns Against Unregistered “GHOST LIFESTYLE Whey Protein – Caramel Pecan Cinnabon” Food Supplement

Food and Drug Administration has issued FDA Advisory No. 2026-0595 warning consumers and healthcare professionals against the purchase and consumption of the unregistered food supplement “GHOST LIFESTYLE Whey Protein – Caramel Pecan Cinnabon Food Supplement”.
According to the advisory, the product was identified through online monitoring and post-marketing surveillance and was found to have no valid Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) issued by the Philippine FDA.

Under Republic Act No. 9711, also known as the “Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009”, the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, sale, promotion, and advertising of health products without proper FDA authorization are prohibited. As the product has not undergone FDA evaluation, the agency stated that its quality, safety, andregulatory compliancecannot be assured.
