The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has issued a firm reminder that any distribution of SHFT vape products—whether sold or given away—is strictly prohibited. This follows a social media post by SHFT on April 16, 2025, promoting a free product giveaway, which violates existing Preventive Measure Orders (PMOs) and a Preliminary Order (PO) issued against SHFT, its manufacturer, and importer. The PMOs, first issued in September 2024 and reiterated in January 2025, cite breaches of the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act (RA11900) and other relevant laws. The DTI’s Office for the Special Mandate on these products emphasized that the ban remains active under the conditions of SHFT’s Certificate of Conditional Release, and warned of penalties for non-compliance.
