"As per Circular No. 19/2024/TT-BCT, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade has introduced enhanced safety regulations for factories and warehouses handling hazardous chemicals. New or renovated facilities must adhere to standards such as TCVN 4604:2012, TCVN 3890:2023, and QCVN 06:2022/BXD (Amendment 1:2023). Key requirements include dual exits, containment systems for liquid and corrosive chemicals, emergency eyewash and shower stations, and minimum clearances in storage layouts. The Circular also mandates safety measures for flammable, toxic, and reactive substances, including gas leak alarms, toxic gas treatment systems, and automatic sprinklers. Existing establishments have until April 15, 2026, to comply. During transportation, companies must follow Decree No. 34/2024/ND-CP and other applicable laws, ensuring safety for people and the environment."
