Naghma leads the Cosmetics — Asia Pacific division at Freyr, bringing over 15 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for the cosmetic and healthcare sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked with leading cosmetic brands, gaining hands-on expertise in regulatory compliance across a wide range of product categories — including product classification, formulation assessment, label and claims reviews, dossier preparation, and GMP audits in line with applicable regulatory guidelines.

At Freyr, Naghma has played a key role in providing end-to-end regulatory support for cosmetic product registrations and notifications across APAC markets, including India, ASEAN (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore ), Japan, and South Korea. She has also liaised with health authorities such as CDSCO, NPRA, HSA, and others to ensure smooth submissions and approvals, while managing export certifications like Free Sale and GMP certificates.

In addition to her regulatory expertise, Naghma is a certified auditor in Halal Assurance Systems and has successfully supported clients seeking Halal certification for cosmetic products. She continues to advise businesses on compliance strategy, monitor regulatory updates, and conduct training sessions to help teams stay aligned with evolving market requirements.
