New Jersey, May 12, 2023: Freyr announces first-of-its-kind Regulatory support in its history; collaborates with a US-based leading consumer products company for a voluntary recall of 50+ consumer products in 60 + markets across the globe.
The customer required a one-stop Regulatory solution for a time-bound voluntary recall process of 50+ consumer products from multiple markets with zero impact on brand image. The project was complex and required an enormous amount of collection of Regulatory intelligence at the country level, as the process for a voluntary recall of consumer products are not clearly articulated and are inconsistent. An additional layer of complexity was added as the modes of marketing the product was both through e-Commerce (D2C) and through distributors.
Freyr initiated the project on war footing to meet all the market obligations at once under strict timelines of the recall process. Freyr managed the multiple complexities of initiating product-specific recall strategies, document formats, and communicating with corresponding Health Authorities in multiple languages. As of today, the project has been executed successfully, with recall notices published in all major markets as per local regulations.
