Neha is a Chemist by training and has over twelve years of experience working in the Analytical and Clinical Science research laboratories, and in Regulatory Affairs.
At Freyr, Neha works on multiple projects with various Regulatory agencies and supports clients seeking Regulatory compliance in the US, ROW, and EU markets. She has led various scientific operations and marketing projects in the Consumer and MPR delivery segments. Neha also supports Freyr’s Medical Writing and Communications domain and its technical marketing initiatives.
- Over 20 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Research & Development (R&D) in American consumer companies.
- RA works with KFDA (new ingredients, labelling, importation dossier for health functional foods, Cosmetic, functional cosmetic).
- GA (please provide full form for GA)public affairs experience with various government bodies, including Seoul City, the FTC, KFDA, KCA, Customs, and other regulatory authorities
- Responsible for submitting and executing translations for local regulatory authorities across all procedures.
- Evaluation of change controls to maintain Regulatory and GMP compliance.
- Dossier evaluation and changes necessary to switch the product and registration dossier to comply with MFDS’s current laws.
- Provide support and guidance with national Regulatory Intelligence (RI) and inputs for global development projects and due diligence.
- Prepare and update abbreviated prescribing information as a part of all marketing material.
Naghma leads the Cosmetics — Asia Pacific division at Freyr, bringing over 15 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for the cosmetic and healthcare sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked with leading cosmetic brands, gaining hands-on expertise in regulatory compliance across a wide range of product categories — including product classification, formulation assessment, label and claims reviews, dossier preparation, and GMP audits in line with applicable regulatory guidelines.
At Freyr, Naghma has played a key role in providing end-to-end regulatory support for cosmetic product registrations and notifications across APAC markets, including India, ASEAN (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore ), Japan, and South Korea. She has also liaised with health authorities such as CDSCO, NPRA, HSA, and others to ensure smooth submissions and approvals, while managing export certifications like Free Sale and GMP certificates.
In addition to her regulatory expertise, Naghma is a certified auditor in Halal Assurance Systems and has successfully supported clients seeking Halal certification for cosmetic products. She continues to advise businesses on compliance strategy, monitor regulatory updates, and conduct training sessions to help teams stay aligned with evolving market requirements.
