,On February 9, 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced that it will implement a renewed organisational structure starting 1 March 2026. The restructuring aims to strengthen the Agency’s ability to deliver on its expanding mandate and strategic objectives under EU chemicals legislation. The updated structure is designed to: • Enhance governance and stakeholder engagement. • Improve data and IT integration. • Reinforce support to scientific committees. • Strengthen assistance to industry and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). • Ensure continued effective implementation of EU chemical safety policies. According to Executive Director, the new structure will support ECHA’s long-term strategic goals, including digital and data transformation, while maintaining stable operations and service continuity. Further updates, including detailed descriptions of the directorates and revised contact information, will be published on 2 March 2026.
