The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) of the European Union has published on its website a set of current testing proposals under the EU REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) for which stakeholders are invited to submit scientifically valid comments. On 17 December 2025, ECHA launched 19 new public consultations on testing proposals and set the deadline for submitting comments to 2 February 2026 as part of its ongoing effort to ensure chemical safety through transparent stakeholder engagement and data gathering before conducting proposed animal testing. These proposals involve substances for which additional toxicological information has been suggested, often for endpoints such as reproductive or developmental toxicity, and third parties (scientists, industry, NGOs, etc.) can provide evidence to support, refine, or challenge the need for such testing. Public access to these proposals enables wider scientific scrutiny and helps ECHA make well-informed decisions on whether the proposed tests are necessary under REACH. Below are the chemical substances from that consultation, with a public comment deadline of 02 February 2026, listed one per line with a semicolon after each name (from the currently published ECHA testing proposals table: 1)2-(2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol; 2)2-(2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol; 3)2-(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol; 4)3,6,9,12-tetraoxotridecanol; 5)7-hydroxycitronellal; 6)Bis(2-ethylhexyl)fumarate; 7)L-p-mentha-1(6),8-dien-2-one; 8)Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl),?-butyl-?-hydroxy; 9)Reactionmassof2-(2-(2butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanoland3,6,9,12tetraoxahexadecan-1-ol; 10)Reactionmass of3,6,9,12-tetraoxotridecan-1-oland3,6,9,12,15-pentaoxahexadecan-1-ol; 11)?-Caprolactone, oligomeric reaction products with propylidyne trimethanol
