Superfoods Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of all Live it Up Super Greens products, including Original and Wild Berry flavors, due to possible contamination with Salmonella.

Salmonella may cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, particularly in:

Young children

Elderly individuals

Immunocompromised persons

Symptoms typically include fever, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, infection may lead to bloodstream involvement resulting in severe conditions such as endocarditis, arterial infections, or arthritis.

The recall applies to all lots beginning with the letter “A”, as well as all stick pack products (identified by lot code beginning with the number “3”).
