"The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine has issued Order No. 812, officially registered with the Ministry of Justice (No. 1825/45231), introducing minimum quality requirements for mixed fruits in syrup and/or natural fruit juice.
The regulation aims to ensure consumer awareness regarding product properties and prevent misleading business practices. Key provisions include:

Definition: Mixed fruits refer to a product made from a blend of fresh peaches and pears (Williams and Rocha varieties), processed with sugar syrup and/or natural fruit juice, thermally treated, and hermetically sealed.
Composition Standards:
Minimum 60% of the product’s mass (excluding syrup/juice) must consist of peaches and pears.
Mixed fruits must occupy at least 90% of the total volume of the sealed packaging.

Fruit Quality:

Fruits must be fresh, healthy, ripe, clean, and suitable for processing.
They should have a tender texture, typical color, taste, and aroma, free from foreign odors or flavors.
Peaches must be peeled and pitted; pears peeled, cored, and seeded (stalk allowed).

Packaging Requirements:
Depending on fruit form and package size, the percentage of fruit volume varies (e.g., whole fruits: 50%, halves: 46–54%).
For glass containers, capacity calculations must exclude 20 ml.

Labeling: Each package must include mandatory consumer information, the manufacturer’s registration number, and production date.
Compliance Timeline: Products not meeting these standards may still be produced and sold for three years after the regulation takes effect, which is six months post-publication.
The Ministry emphasizes adherence to HACCP principles for food safety management and proper documentation by manufacturers."
