"On November 18, 2025, The World Trade Organisation (WTO) circulated a draft standard DARS 2212:2025, Cosmetics — Labelling of cosmetic products — Requirements, First Edition.This Draft African Standard specifies requirements for the labelling of cosmetic products. This standard applies to all cosmetic products as defined in Clause 3.1 and specified in DARS/TC04/002. This standard does not apply to cosmetic products for which therapeutic claims are made and biocidal products.
