"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Philippines has issued FDA Advisory No. 2025-1557 warning healthcare professionals and the public against the purchase and consumption of the unregistered food supplement “DENGENIQ Multi Collagen Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides (Types I, II, III, V, X) with 10 Vitamins, Hyaluronic Acid, Nicotinamide (Unflavored Powder Food Supplement).”
Based on post-marketing surveillance and online monitoring, the FDA confirmed that the product has no valid Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) and is therefore not authorized for manufacture, importation, distribution, sale, promotion, or advertising in the Philippines, in accordance with Republic Act No. 9711 (FDA Act of 2009). As the product has not undergone the FDA’s evaluation process, its quality, safety, and efficacy cannot be assured.
The FDA has directed all establishments to immediately cease distribution, sale, advertising, and promotion of the product. Regulatory actions and sanctions may be imposed for non-compliance. The Bureau of Customs has also been requested to restrain the importation and exportation of the product.
Authorities are urged to ensure the product is not made available in their jurisdictions. The market authorization holder may request the lifting of the advisory only upon submission of a valid CPR and complete supporting documentation. Consumers and stakeholders are encouraged to verify product registration through the FDA Verification Portal and to report any sale or distribution of unregistered food products to the FDA."
