On 7 May 2026, South Korea's Korea Cosmetics Association (KCIA) announced the upcoming “2026 Indonesia Trade and Technology Regulation Briefing Session in the Cosmetics Sector,” scheduled to take place on 26 May 2026 at the COEX Conference Room in Seoul. The event is organised by the Korea Cosmetics Association and the Korea Chemical Fiber Association under the sponsorship of the National Institute of Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. According to the announcement, the briefing session aims to provide regulatory and trade-related information concerning Indonesia’s cosmetics sector and support Korean cosmetic companies seeking market access and regulatory compliance in Indonesia. KCIA stated that the session will run from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and will focus on Indonesian trade technology regulations relevant to cosmetics, reflecting the growing importance of Southeast Asian export markets for Korean cosmetic manufacturers. The association invited interested participants to register through the KCIA Education Center website before the application deadline around 20 May 2026. The participation fee was set at KRW 10,000 for KCIA members and KRW 20,000 for non-members. The organisers indicated that the briefing is intended to assist industry stakeholders in understanding evolving Indonesian regulatory requirements and facilitate smoother business expansion opportunities within the cosmetics sector.
