South Korea Updates Cosmetics Regulations Covering Disclosure and Investigation of Imported Products

On April 3, 2026, the Korea Cosmetics Association (KCIA) issued a notice informing member companies about the promulgation of the Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Regulations of the Cosmetics Act. The notice is related to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Cosmetics Policy Division-2246, dated March 31, 2026. This amendment was made to stipulate the detailed matters delegated by the recently amended Cosmetics Act (Act No. 20901, promulgated on April 1, 2025).
