,On 2 February 2026 Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (under the Ministry of Health and Welfare) announced amendments to the appendix of point 2 of the “Documents to be submitted for the application for the use of exosomes derived from human cells in cosmetics.” The order (Wei Shou Shizi No. 1141601276) updates the documentation requirements for applications seeking approval to use human-cell-derived exosomes in cosmetic products. The amendment revises the attached table under point 2 of the guideline that specifies the materials and information required for case review. The revised appendix clarifies and updates the list of documents that applicants must submit when requesting regulatory evaluation for the use of such ingredients in cosmetics.
