"On 14 October 2025, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) announced a variation to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals following the revocation of Confidential Business Information (CBI) approval for a chemical previously listed with protected identity. The affected substance, identified by CAS number 3099978-68-1, is now publicly listed under its full chemical name: Soybean oil, polymer with adipic acid, 1H,3H-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]difuran-1,3,5,7-tetrone, bisphenol A-epichlorohydrin-5-isocyanato-1-(isocyanatomethyl)-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane polymer 4-oxopentanoate (ester), ethylenediamine, 1,6-hexanediol, hydrazine, 3-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-methylpropanoic acid, 5-isocyanato-1-(isocyanatomethyl)-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane, neopentyl glycol, polyethylene glycol mono-Me ether, trimellitic anhydride and trimethylolpropane, compd. with 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol and triethylamine. Importers or manufacturers of this substance must notify AICIS within 28 days if their introduction circumstances differ from those assessed."
