"On November 10, ANVISA launched a broad enforcement action involving multiple recalls and market bans due to the sale and distribution of unauthorized products. The agency ordered the recall of the Proteus/Whey Isolate Protein Mix powdered protein supplements marketed by Unlimited Alimentos e Suplementos SLU Ltda., suspending their sale, distribution, manufacture, import, advertising, and consumption. These products were found being sold on online platforms such as Shopee and Mercado Livre without sanitary authorization and without identification of any legitimate national manufacturer or importer.
In a separate action, ANVISA also mandated the recall of all dietary supplements produced by Bugroon Raízes Indústria e Comércio de Produtos Naturais Ltda. The company was manufacturing oils and capsules without the required sanitary licensing and selling them directly on its official website. As a result, all batches of the following products were suspended: Peppermint Bugroon Oil, Bugroon Sucupira Oil, Bugroon Copaiba Oil, Ginkocen Bugroon Capsules, Calmom Bugroon Capsules, Catux Bugroon Capsules, Unaro Moringa Bugroon Capsules, Neuralfocus Bugroon Capsules, and Contradô Bugroon Capsules.
Additionally, ANVISA ordered the recall of Limpinha 99% Caustic Soda Flakes, manufactured by Guaraflex Produtos de Limpeza Ltda. This product was not registered as a sanitizing agent with ANVISA and is therefore prohibited from being sold, manufactured, distributed, advertised, or used. These measures aim to protect consumers from unapproved, potentially unsafe products circulating without proper regulatory oversight."
