On April 27, 2026, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced the review results for applications under the 7th batch of simplified registration certificates for environmental management of new chemical substances. The review, conducted in accordance with the Measures for the Registration of Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (Order No. 12), covered 13 applications submitted by various companies, including Jiujiang Tianci New Power Material Technology Co., Ltd. The Ministry confirmed that all reviewed applications meet the regulatory requirements and are proposed for approval. The substances include a range of chemical compounds intended for production or import, such as 1. bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide 2. (E)-N-((dimethyl amino) methylene)pyridine-4-formamide 3. (1 S,2 R,3R,4 aR,6 aS,7 R,8 R,10 aR,10 bR,12 aR)-benzyl 3-hydrazine-2-hydroxy-1,6 a,8,10 a-tetramethyl-8-((R)-3-methylbutane-2-yl)-2,3,4,6,6 a,7,8,9,10,10 a,10 b,11,12,12 a-tetrahydro-1H-1,4 a-(methambridge oxymethylbridge)-7-carboxylate hydrochloride 4. Tetra(2-chloropropyl) (propane-2,2-diylbis(4,1-phenyl))bis(phosphate) 5. Eicosanediic acid 1-(1,1-dimethylethyl)ester 6. (2S,3R)-2-[[(2S)-2-[[(2R)-2-acetylamino-3-methyl-3-triphenylmethylthiobutyroyl] amino]-4-amino-4-oxobynyryl] amino]-3-tert-butoxybutyric acid 7. Niobium tungsten oxide, and several pharmaceutical intermediates. In line with Article 24 of the Measures, the Ministry has disclosed relevant details of the applications for public consultation. The public comment period runs from April 27 to April 29, 2026, during which stakeholders may submit feedback. The announcement forms part of China's regulatory framework to ensure environmental risk management and oversight of new chemical substances prior to their manufacture or import.
