Gold Coast Baking Company has recalled its “King Henrys Bakehouse Rye Bread 900g” product due to the presence of an undeclared soy allergen.The affected products were sold at Coles and independent retailers including IGA, SPAR, Drakes, and Foodworks across south-east Queensland, Australia.

The recall applies to all products with best before dates from 30 March 2026 up to and including 30 April 2026.Consumers with a soy allergy or intolerance are advised not to consume the product, as it may cause an allergic reaction. Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers concerned about their health are advised to seek medical advice.
