"China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) issued a public notice on nine new chemical substances that have passed review for simplified registration under the Measures for the Registration of Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (Order No. 12). Applicants include Otsuka Chemical Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Henkel (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Aoxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Yaben Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., and others. The substances include polymers of polyalkyl benzylammonium halides, 3-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-yl)propane-1-ol, 2,6-diphenylphenol, difluoroacetylfluoride, 2,2'-bis(trifluoromethoxy)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine, and few others. The public consultation period runs from September 11–15, 2025, with feedback accepted via the Ministry’s designated channels."
