"Western United Fish Company, operating as Annasea Foods Group, has recalled approximately 3,314.7 pounds of Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recall was initiated after a positive test result for Listeria in green onions used in the product. While no illnesses have been reported, Listeria infection can cause serious health issues, particularly in young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
