The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) has announced the launch of MyHALALINGREDIENTS, a new digital data collection system effective 15 August 2025, aimed at simplifying and expediting the halal certification process. Integrated with the existing MYeHALAL platform, the system will reduce repetitive submission of documents, shorten review timelines, and enhance transparency. Key benefits include faster registration, efficient ingredient review, systematic supply chain management, and shorter certification processing time. An industry briefing will be held online on 18 August 2025 to guide companies on implementation. JAKIM urges all halal-certified industries to adopt the system to strengthen Malaysia’s position as a global halal hub.
