"Mondelēz Global LLC has issued a limited voluntary recall of a single SKU of RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches due to the potential presence of undeclared peanuts resulting from mislabeling. The recall affects 70 cases distributed to retail stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

According to the announcement released on November 28, 2025, the recall involves one SKU and two code dates that were also part of an earlier July recall. This is not an expansion of that recall. The voluntary action is taken out of an abundance of caution after the company discovered the products were inadvertently shipped to a limited number of retailers.

Issue & Risk

Some individually wrapped packs inside the affected cartons may be incorrectly labeled as Cheese variety, even though the content may actually be Peanut Butter.
This creates a risk for consumers with peanut allergy or severe sensitivity, potentially causing serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.

Mondelēz confirmed:

Outer cartons are correctly labeled and include the allergen advisory “contains peanuts.”

There have been no reports of illness or injury to date.
