,"On November 24, 2025, the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment (Chemical Products Management Division) enacted and partialy ammended titled "" Designation of household chemical products subject to safety confirmation and safety/labeling standards "" proposing a partial amendment to the following
Article 10 (Review of Regulations) In accordance with Article 8 of the Framework Act on Administrative Regulation and the Regulations on the Issuance and Management of Orders and Regulations, etc. (Presidential Decree No. 248), the feasibility of the regulations must be reviewed every three years as of January 1, 2025 (until December 31 of the third year) and measures such as improvement shall be taken.

Article 1 (Effective Date) This notice shall take effect on January 1, 2025. However, the following items shall be implemented from the date according to the classification of each item.
Article 2 (Application of Safety Standards for Chemical Substances by Item) The revised regulations in Appendix 2 shall apply to products manufactured or imported after January 1, 2025. However, in the case of amendments that are implemented from the date of promulgation in accordance with the provisions of Article 1, Item 1 to Mamok of the Supplementary Regulations among the amendments in Appendix 2, the products manufactured or imported after the date of promulgation shall be applied.
Article 5 (Application of Labeling of Household Chemical Products Subject to Safety Confirmation) The amended regulations in Appendix 5 shall apply to products manufactured or imported after January 1, 2025. However, in the case of amendments to the amendments in Appendix 5 that are implemented from the date of promulgation in accordance with Item 1 of Article 1 of the Supplementary Regulations, the revised regulations shall apply from the products manufactured or imported after the date of issuance.

Article 1 (Effective Date) This notice shall take effect on January 1, 2025. However, the revised regulations of Article 9 shall come into effect from the date of promulgation.
Article 2 (Application Examples of Labeling Methods for Household Chemical Products Subject to Safety Confirmation) The revised regulations in Appendix 6 shall apply to products manufactured or imported after January 1, 2025.

Article 1 (Date of Implementation) This notice shall be implemented from the date of issuance.
Article 2 (Examples of Application of Labeling Matters) Revisions to the labeling items and labeling methods in accordance with Appendix 2 and Appendix 5 shall apply to products manufactured or imported after July 1, 2026. However, those who wish to obtain confirmation may apply the labeling standards in accordance with the revised regulations to products manufactured or imported before July 1, 2026."
