EPA Administrator emphasized that this initiative addresses the backlog of chemical reviews while advancing President Trump’s goal of making the U.S. the global AI capital. The prioritization aligns with Section 7 of the Executive Order, which directs expedited permitting of qualifying projects, including data centers and supporting transmission infrastructure. Companies can request prioritized review by submitting a cover letter through the Central Data Exchange (CDX), identifying the intended use and project details.
