The action follows a national food safety investigation linked to a growing number of reported illnesses.

Brands and Products Affected:

Nutrifresh – Green Pistachios sold in bags up to August 26, 2025.

CocoaBistro – “The Dubai Bar” (approx. 120 g), sold between June 19 and August 28, 2025.

Baker Street – Chocolate Pistachio Cake (7-inch) and bulk pistachios (raw whole & shelled).

Phidelia Premium Products – Natural Kernel Pistachios (200 g, Lot 4250).

Gujarati Foods – Kari Ladoo (400 g), sold between May 1 and July 31, 2025.

Konscious Kitchen – Paleo & Vegan Pistachio Bars (3-bar pack, Lot VPB23E25).

East India / Enayat Farms – Baklava pastries sold between May 22 and May 31, 2025, mainly in the Ottawa region.

Yad Nuts – Various roasted pistachios sold in bulk at Quebec outlets.

Authorities confirm over 100 reported illnesses and multiple hospitalizations linked to consumption of contaminated pistachio products. Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using, selling, or serving the recalled products. Businesses have been directed to remove affected items from all store shelves and online listings.

Officials emphasize that Salmonella can cause serious symptoms, particularly in young children, older adults, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Anyone experiencing symptoms after consuming pistachio products should seek medical care."
