The Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) has added an industrial chemical to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (Inventory) because five years have passed since its assessment certificate was issued under section 82 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019. The chemical added is identified by CAS number 900151-37-3, named 1,4-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, polymer with 1,2-ethanediol and ?-hydro-?-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,4-butanediyl), with a specified complex molecular formula. It was officially listed on the Inventory on 3 December 2025, and the notice was published on 9 December 2025. Introducers must inform AICIS within 28 days if their importation or manufacturing circumstances differ from what was assessed, and the chemical without needing a new assessment certificate, as long as they follow the conditions and risk controls already set by AICIS.
