BASF announced its participation in PlastIndia 2026, scheduled for February 5–10, 2026 in New Delhi, under the banner of #OurPlasticsJourney, spotlighting sustainable and innovative materials and technologies. The company will present a wide range of high-performance materials, advanced recycling concepts, and application-focused solutions that span the plastics lifecycle — from creation to usage and recycling. At the “Make” phase, BASF will highlight its Creation Center materials and simulation tools to improve design and sustainability, as well as bio-based TPU applications. The “Use” phase features materials that support automotive and eMobility components, medical devices with biocompatible Elastollan TPU, advanced additives, and solutions for agricultural films and floating solar pontoons. In the “Recycle” phase, BASF will showcase circular products such as a fully recyclable TPU concept shoe and upcycled engineering plastics, alongside trinamiX mobile spectroscopy tools to enhance sorting accuracy for recyclers. The company also frames its long-term commitment to India’s plastics industry and sustainable growth, aligning with themes of circularity, innovation, and local market relevance.
