Fry Pie Factory has voluntarily recalled its 5 oz Pepperoni Rolls after identifying two food safety issues: the presence of undeclared milk, a major food allergen, and a refrigeration process deviation that may have allowed the products to be stored, distributed, or sold at unsafe temperatures. The temperature control failure could increase the risk of pathogenic growth and foodborne illness.
The recalled products were distributed across Ohio and parts of West Virginia through convenience stores, grocery stores, and gas stations. Consumers with milk allergies or sensitivities may face serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if the product is consumed. As of the recall announcement, no illnesses or allergic reactions had been reported.
Fry Pie Factory has advised consumers to discard the affected Pepperoni Rolls or return them for a full refund. The recall was announced on 12 June 2026 and published by the FDA on 18 June 2026.
