On 3 April 2026 National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), Japan has released the next update schedule for the NITE-CHRIP (NITE Chemical Risk Information Platform) / J-CHECK database on its dedicated Next Update Schedule webpage. The next scheduled update is set for June 17, 2026 (the date may be subject to change). In this update, NITE plans to add, delete, and modify certain chemical substances based on internal data reviews and user inquiries. The detailed list of substances scheduled for these changes is available in an attached Excel file titled "Substances scheduled for the next update" (updated on April 3, 2026). Note that this list does not include substances affected by legal amendments or other regulatory changes. Additionally, the June 17, 2026, update will incorporate the Class I Specified Chemical Substances under the Chemical Substances Control Law that come into effect on the same day. Information on other data sources will be announced as needed.
