This standard falls under the chemical industry sector (ICS 71.100). The decree provides a six-month transitional period for producers and importers to comply with the new requirements. The draft of this standard was previously notified under G/TBT/N/EGY/492 on 4 December 2024. Egyptian Standard ES 9107 aligns with several international and regional standards and regulations, including: -Nordic Swan Ecolabelling of Sanitary Products, Version 6.0 / 2016 -Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) -Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) -KS 2796/2018 Disposable Nursing Pad – Specification Date of adoption was August 11, 2025"
